Guitar collectors who love the Grateful Dead have something to be excited about! Alvarez Guitars has announced that they are producing two limited edition Grateful Dead guitars for the 50th anniversary. They have a March 31st, 2015 release. These acoustic guitars will feature custom artwork with classic Grateful Dead imagery.

Combine this with the fact that The Grateful Dead are getting back together for the first time in 20 years to play 3 shows over the 4th of July weekend. These shows are in celebration of the 50th anniversary of this much-loved band. The concerts will take place at Soldier Field in Chicago, which happens to be the last venue they played before Jerry Garcia died in 1995. Needless to say, Deadheads throughout the world have a lot to look forward to in the coming months.
