The Darth Vader Legendary Scale Figure will show you the true nature of the force.

For hardcore Star Wars collectors who wants a taste of the dark side, the Darth Vader Legendary Scale Figure from Sideshow is your destiny.

As the latest figure to enter Sideshow’s illustrious Legendary Scale Figure series, it’s perhaps more accurate to call this 1:2 scale Darth Vader a statue and not a figure. Standing 46.45” tall, no one would question your love of Star Wars upon seeing this in your living room. Interested fans should expect the exquisite level of detail that Sideshow is famous for, as well as an appropriately steep price tag.

Though pre-orders are slated to go live this Thursday, June 29th, the price of this menacing Sith Lord has yet to be announced. However, if we’re to compare the Darth Vader Legendary Scale Figure to other items in the same series, we should expect this to run for anything between $2,000 to $2,500. Sideshow does offer a myriad of flexible payment plans as always, but either way, the Legendary Scale Figures are for the most dedicated of fans and collectors only. Of course, longtime fans of Sideshow know to expect these kinds of prices anyway.

The Darth Vader Legendary Scale Figure may be making headlines now, but select Star Wars fans have been waiting a long time for this one. In fact, rumblings of this figure’s existence began all the way back in 2013, which means this Darth Vader figure has been nearly 4 years in the making. Of course, a character as iconic as Darth Vader should warrant some especially careful treatment, but it’s still amazing to think about regardless. For those who have been patiently longing for this since day 1, we sincerely hope the finished product is worth the hype.

For those interested in the Legendary Scale Figure series, six of the figures are currently available for order / pre-order on Sideshow’s official storefront. And of course, for those who would prefer a 1:1 scale lifesize version of Darth Vader instead, you can pre-order that for a cool $8,900 here.
