At least one family has struck gold after a German artist buried bullion on a Folkestone beach.
As a follow up to our article yesterday about the golden free for all on Folkestone Beach in England, we’re happy to announce that one family struck gold, making it a day they’ll surely remember forever. After hours of digging and scouring the sand, around 7pm a local family from Folkestone uncovered one of the 30 bars of gold that had been buried in the sand. There have been other rumored discoveries but this is the only confirmed found bar of gold. The family wishes to remain anonymous to quietly enjoy their good fortune together.
