Digging up forgotten treasure in grandma’s dusty attic sounds like a tale too good to be true.

Then again, so does winning the lottery, but that happens too.

There’s no doubt that the PBS program ‘Antiques Roadshow’ has become a bit of a cultural phenomenon.  People go on the show to present their flea market find or cherished family heirloom to professional auctioneers in hopes that they might walk away with wallets a bit heavier.  Most walk away full of disappoint, however, a few lucky ones leave ‘Antiques Roadshow’  pleasantly surprised.
